Bordeaux’s Institut Bergonié twice approved
This is the second official approval for the Institut Bergonié. The first dates back to October 2009, when the INCA (National Cancer Institute) decided that Bordeaux’s Institut Bergonié was to become a reference center for rare cancers in adults.

In the study he carried out with the «Biology of sarcomas» team of INSERM Unit VINCO U 916 of the Institut Bergonié Frédéric Chibon, Biology Engineer, highlighted, in two batches of 183 and 127 tumoral samples, a signature of 67 genes, known as CINSARC (Complexity Index in Sarcoma), enabling better definition of sarcoma aggressiveness.
